In this article we would like to explain more about the Cosmos Cyber Reality markets. To support the adoption of the virtual world we are creating two additional markets for the cosmos. All created markets will use our own in-game utility token called the $CYBR.
These markets will have different features but a common goal to make it easier for everyone to participate in Cosmos CR.
The two starting markets are:
- Virtual Real Estate market
- Community Store
Virtual Real Estate market
The virtual world will consist of 50000 land parcels (read more here: link). People can own these land parcels as a non-fungible token (read more) in their wallet. To build something inside the VR world you need a land parcel. As these land parcels are scarce they will have a specific value that the market will determine. Things like location and district will influence the price.
In the Virtual Real Estate market you can buy and sell your VR real estate with smart contracts. This will be created to make it an easy to use interface and to make it possible for everyone to use. This also means there will be no middleman or central authority in this process.
After the first year new land will be generated and sold for $CYBR tokens. Every hour one land parcel will be auctioned. This makes future growth possible. All of this happen in the Virtual Real Estate market.
Community Store
The community store will consist out of different parts. These parts are:
- Content
Not everyone knows how to create amazing 3D models, but they still might want to own VR land. As a solution we created the content store that people can use to buy/sell 3D models. The content store will make it possible for everyone to get their dream house , furniture , cars or other models. The content store can also include code that can be used for a TV or Jukebox for example. Everyone can create and sell models in this part of the store and earn $CYBR.
- NFT market (non-fungible token market)
Cosmos CR is not only about the virtual reality world, but also about true ownership of digital items and assets. The blockchain makes an internet of value possible. Items can have a value if they are tokenized. Items can have limited editions, think about rare collectibles or legendary in-game items, that generate a demand. In the NFT market we want people to be able to buy/sell and even trade non-fungible tokens. This will generate a trade economy that exceeds your use case or the game you are playing. Your hard work and grinding will have true value. This market will also support non-fungible tokens that are already in existence like CryptoKitties. All NFT transactions will be done by smart contracts reducing the risk and cost.
- Plugin markets
Plugins are a great way for the community to build their own innovations. Wordpress and other programs have a huge benefit because of the plugins people can purchase. We think this is a great approach and that is why we are creating the plugin store. People can create plugins and sell them to the community so other people can have many use cases with them. Great examples are a VR webshop program or a VR casino game. The foundation will also create free plugins after the complete framework of the platform is completed. People that have a good idea for a plugin can also contact the foundation for a reward program to create the plugin in cooperation with the foundation.
We are creating these markets as a solid foundation for the future growth, but keep in mind Cosmos CR is a complete open source and decentralized project. The community can create any kind of marketplace. Maybe someone will make a plugin to create easy markets like a woocommerce platform. We will always give our support where possible.
