Meet Roger Kan, Our APAC Account Director
The Cosmose team keeps growing! And as we grow, we’d like to introduce you to some of our amazing team members.
Meet Roger Kan, our APAC Account Director. We asked him four simple questions regarding his motivations and goals at Cosmose, and here is what he answered:
1. How would you describe yourself in three words?
Passionate, curious, resilient.
2. What did you do before joining Cosmose?
Before joining Cosmose, I served regional luxury clients at Zenith Media in Hong Kong.
3. What attracted you the most about Cosmose and what have these few months been like?
What attracted me the most to this company was the Cosmose vision. It empowers offline retailers to reconnect with audiences who left their stores, changing the way we perceive the advertising impact on store visits and sales in a precise and data driven manner.
On the other hand, my last few months at Cosmose are best described as bittersweet, like my black coffee. Moving away from home to a new city and joining a startup was somethings I always wanted to do. Now that I’m here, I’m very excited about the responsibilities and opportunities that have been granted to me. The work environment is pretty awesome as well (aka. wearing shorts to work, good jokes and the startup community).
4. What do you expect to achieve with Cosmose and how do you think OMNIcookie will revolutionize the advertising industry?
I think Cosmose will play a pivotal role in leveraging location data, which in turn, will help brands gain a better understanding of their target audience’s offline behaviour.
Cosmose also embraces AI and machine learning to enhance ad targeting accuracy as well as reducing the amount of manual work, which will play an important role in the launch of our self-served platform for advertisers as we explore new markets like Taiwan, Japan and Singapore.
I can’t wait to see what we will be achieving this year!
