In an exclusive interview with Lukasz Koziol, Cosmose’s machine learning engineer, he reveals how Cosmose implements AI, making the OMNIcookie an unrivaled technology in its targeting and predictive precision.

“Machine learning is already being applied in Cosmose’s technology” shared Lukasz. “My team and I are currently focusing on upgrading two aspects of the OMNIcookie. The first is the algorithm used to determine locations and positions within a set space. As our localization technique is based on wifi signals, we are implementing AI neural nets to remove all possible interference and increase accuracy”.

The second area Lukasz claims to be working on is the OMNIcookie’s predictive capabilities. “Our current algorithm can predict consumer behaviour locations within a 7-day time span. However, we want to improve on this model so that it can predict locations across different time periods: 1 month, 6 months and so forth.”

Lukasz added that “there aren’t many offline targeting technologies that can lead to a substantial increase in conversions. However, even though OMNIcookie is one of these remarkable technologies, it’s essential to keep improving our localization algorithms to provide both advertisers and media planners with the best offline targeting tool.”

The OMNIcookie might be one of the smartest targeting and predictive technologies out there. But according to Lukasz, there’s still a long way to go! What innovative solutions will Cosmose prepare next?
