We are excited to announce a partnership between Cosmostation and Finschia. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the Interchain space, offering enhanced services and expanding the capabilities of both entities.

Finschia: A Leading Asian Blockchain Protocol

Finschia, initially known as LINE blockchain, has evolved into a robust layer 1 protocol built with some customizations on top of Cosmos SDK, creating Finschia SDK. Finschia’s Finschia SDK, Ostracon, and CosmWasm offer unparalleled scalability, interoperability, and user-friendly features, making it a top choice for developers and users alike.

Finschia’s blockchain consensus mechanism, Ostracon, is integral to its system. It uses a Byzantine fault-tolerant process to organize and confirm transactions. To enhance security, Ostracon has integrated a verifiable random function (VRF) within the Tendermint-BFT framework. This addition randomly selects which node will create the next block, making it hard for attackers to predict or manipulate the process. This method strengthens the blockchain against collusion and other potential security threats.

From LINE Blokchain to Finschia

Finschia’s journey began in 2019 as the LINE blockchain, a project by the globally recognized messaging platform, LINE. In 2022, the protocol was reborn as Finschia, developed based on the Cosmos SDK. Since then, the Finschia Foundation has been in charge of the mainnet operation and FNSA issuance, continuing the global expansion.

Finschia has numerous ecosystem projects leveraging the Finschia mainnet and $FNSA, the native token of Finschia. Among the many great projects, DOSI is the flagship NFT project that’s leading the growth of the ecosystem.

Launched in September 2022, it quickly expanded across 180 countries, showcasing substantial growth in the Web3 ecosystem by creating over 5.4 million wallets, facilitating 470,000+ NFT transactions, engaging 190,000 trading users, and attracting users from over 100 nationalities within just five months.

This remarkable expansion, as reported by LINE NEXT Inc. in June 2023, is supported by strategic investments and partnerships with top-tier global entities such as SoftBank Corp., NAVER, NAVER WEBTOON, NAVER Z, LINE Games, CJ ENM, YG PLUS, SHINSEGAE, Hashed, and K Auction, positioning DOSI at the forefront of the global NFT market and exemplifying its role in advancing the digital asset landscape.

In addition to validation services, Cosmostation will also provide Mintscan block explorer service for Finschia.
