COT Monthly Report — August
As the public chain based on the IoT & Intelligent hardware solution platform based on blockchain, COT (Chains Of Things) adhere to the technical service entity as the first goal of project development.
Development progress & service for entity
Based on the early ubiquitous power Internet of things engineering scheme, the construction of COT ubiquitous IoT test platform was started in August. The plan integrates security data storage, distributed energy settlement, and asset securitization of power intelligent information equipment (data trading). Suitable scenes will be selected from transposition boxes/ground boxes, iron towers, smart manhole covers and power tunnel infrastructure as the first batch of infrastructure for research on smart hardware that can integrate blockchain technology.
Based on the research results of “high-density reading of high-frequency RFID system” in July, COT team began to do statistical verification on intelligent warehouse shelf cases. This month, the progress of phase testing will be concluded. The high-frequency and high-density reading system of COT RFID technology adopts 13.56 Mhz working frequency, which can support ISO15693/18000–3 standard, integrate multi-channel radio frequency identification scheme and anti-collision algorithm based on real-time signal strength, and provide a high reliable basis for building blockchain technology data source based on RFID life cycle management. It takes about 12 seconds for 240 basic digital identities and less than 45 seconds for 680 benchmark digital identities. In the test, the comprehensive error rate is less than 0.007%, which is reaching the industry leading level.
COT blockchain technology will explore the parallel operation scheme of COT chain and COT ecological chain based on the requirements of real scene application of Internet of things, and the basic chain scheme of ecological chain will be the cooperative scheme of alliance chain or private chain and public chain. The node of one COT chain can operate the single node of multiple ecological chains, while the node of one ecological chain can only operate single node. The plan of COT blockchain will be designed and expanded flexibly according to the actual requirements of intelligent Internet of things.
Business cooperation & ecological co-construction
As a keynote speaker, Wang Wen, co-founder of COT, was invited to attend the 2009 Haichuang Chain Borderless Innovation Forum and Anniversary Celebration held on August 24 in Qingdao-Haier Iceberg Corner, a coastal city. Liu Quan, the director of Saidi Blockchain Research Institute, ministry of Industry and Information Technology, shared the theme of “Development and Prospects of China Blockchain in the First Half of 2019”. COT shared the keynote speech “Trusted Identity and Internet of Things Data”, emphatically expounded the key role of COT Intelligent Internet of Things & Blockchain Technology Fusion Solution to the whole industry chain, and introduced relevant application cases. Kongbin of Haier Food Networking introduced the design and exploration of the technology integration blockchain of Haier Food Networking in the past two years.
Community development & activities
10 COT community task packages were issued for the daily community affairs.
By the end of August, COT community are constituted of 9 WeChat groups, 6 QQ groups, 2 overseas telegraph groups, 45 COT enthusiasts community groups;
COT will launch the ecological community cooperation program soon, and eco-partners are welcome to make suggestions and build communities together.
