COT Monthly Report — October
Blockchain based on the IoT & Blockchain-based intelligent hardware solution platform, COT (Chains Of Things) adhere to the technical service entity as the first goal of project development.
COT will take ‘Big Consumption’ and ‘Big Industry’ as the breakthrough of service entities, and provide innovative solutions of IoT plus blockchain integration technology for industry needs. ‘Big Consumption’ — the ‘food, clothing, housing and transportation’ closely related to people’s lives; ‘Big Industry’ — includes intelligent power, industrial manufacturing, new energy, etc.
“Big Consumption” Fields
Bio-medicine is a key industry with technical strategic value in the field of ‘Big consumption’. Vaccine safety is a key prevention and control area related to people’s livelihood and public safety, but in recent years, there have been problems in vaccine incidents exposed and investigated. It is urgent to establish an effective quality and safety traceability system and product risk reporting system. On October 25, representatives of the COT team and the ‘vaccine network’ expert group held technical meetings around the biological cold chain, inventory identification and inventory, and jointly discussed the current biomedical management system and put forward technical suggestions, and made business plans from the Internet of things, big data, and the application of blockchain technology, a new generation of trust infrastructure.
The core version board of medical refrigerator based on COT RFID technology has recently completed the second version iteration, which greatly improves the identification speed and fault-tolerant optimization performance compared with the previous version, and provides strong support for the trusted technical data source of ubiquitous IoT. The improvement of the COT RFID technology system and multi-source sensor technology is an important basis for trusted applications, and plays a key role in the rapid data link of the Internet of things.
This month, the COT team and HaiChuang chain, together with the ontology of ecological partners, have completed the preliminary framework for the design of agricultural products traceability chain. Enabling blockchain technology to serve the real industry will make further vertical and detailed exploration in the next stage around the user demand and the overall strategy of large consumption.
“Big Industry” Fields
Energy industry such as electric power is the blood of modern industrial system. On October 24, the ubiquitous power Internet of things distributed data platform supported by the COT team was deployed in the pilot line in Shanghai. This is an important part of data interaction from the field terminal to the substation to the power intranet platform, which can provide technical expansion for the application needs of edge computing, power infrastructure asset management, etc. COT ubiquitous Internet of things and blockchain integration technology fit perfectly with ubiquitous power Internet of things construction, which can greatly enrich ubiquitous power Internet of things solution system, and provide application support for the realization of energy assets digitization and energy data value mining.
In the next stage, the COT team will launch the research and exploration on the application of blockchain integration technology in the field of international power energy, focusing on the research on the universal international infrastructure of power Internet of things and blockchain. We will also refer to the following projects: the first blockchain application in the field of energy trading in Brooklyn, New York; the decentralized energy trading platform power ledger project in Australia; the Finnish Fortum project to establish the smart contract model between the agents in the energy LAN, etc. The COT team will adhere to the concept of open, collaborative and innovative technology ecology and promote the technical progress of COT with developers in various industries and fields.
Community development & activities
On October 22, the results of the collection and statistics of ‘opinions on the integrated airdrop program of community and ecology partners’ were released. The participants fully expressed their own opinions on COT project, community construction and ecological airdrop, which provided comprehensive reference suggestions for the formulation of ecological airdrop program. At the same time, there are also 52 lucky winners.
