1. Development progress
COT’s public blockchain
COT (Chains of Things) and Ontology jointly completed the first chain framework design of COT based on the IoT public blockchain. The 1.4.9 version of the COT Technology White Paper included the blockchain framework and basic economic model design based on the IoT, and has been published on the official website (cot.io) and WeChat public account (COT team) and Twitter (ChainsOfThings).
The first version of the consensus algorithm *BFT base uses the VBFT consensus algorithm, which combines the POS, verifiable random function (VRF) and BFT consensus algorithms, and overcomes the problem of insufficient expansion of the mainstream public blockchain’s POW consensus algorithm and the BFT-like consensus algorithm. . The three levels of VBFT consensus are in line with the current default governance model requirements of the COT Nuva’s Platform project. And the COT token model, supporting cross-chain acceptance interface planning for homogeneous and non-homogeneous Tokens, and 2+1 token integrated governance model design. The initial construction of the first intelligent hardware solution platform based on blockchain completed.
IoT & Smart Hardware
Service entity economic business was developed through the actual visit research, and discussion with the ecological partners on the industrial “process” big data automation program system, new retail business and other scenarios, the first version of the blockchain “things” ecological edge intelligence and identification core board was designed and completed.
This month, the core module of the “things” blockchain identification system was completed. As the key solution system of the second strategy in the six strategic systems of COT, the core module board is implemented by CPLD device as a lightweight algorithm with fundamental and expandable functions such as basic edges calculating power and edge recognition ID.
2. Community activity
On October 15th, Yuan Ning, head of COT operations, gave an online speech in the community of COT enthusiasts, sharing the six strategic developments of the COT, economic models, and the latest developments of the project to make community fans deepen their understanding of the project;
On October 29th, the COT White Paper Knowledge and Q&A Halloween Promotions were held throughout the community. The activities are in the form of WeChat friend zone forwarding and following in Chinese community and Twitter retweeting and following in English community. The event will last until November 7th.
3. Recent activities
On November 11th, the COT White Paper Knowledge and Q&A will be launched;
In November, a knowledge map competition will be held.
4. Community growth
The number of Wechat group for enthusiasts has increased to 14 and the number of members has increased to 5,733.
