August Monthly Report

1. Development progress
Underlying
Our first public blockchain is currently in the architectural planning stage and we formed a joint technology and R&D team with Ontology.
Application
· The first project on our Nuwa R&D platform — the intelligent shared bookcase application — has gone into the integration and testing phase and will be launched in late September.
· Alongside Ontology we launched the Global User Identity Identification solution and implemented the COT mail subscription user identification solution.
2. Community activities
online
· On August 3rd our Chinese Telegram group held a Q&A.
· On August 4th our English Telegram group also held a Q&A.
COT founder Wang Wen took part, answering questions about the COT project for our fans all over the world.
· On August 31st the identity authentication of the first email subscription was initiated. The identity authentication is achieved through the connection between the ontology ONTO platform and the COT data background, ensuring a fair subscription system.
MEETUP
· On August 18th Ontology’s main network release and the COT meetup were held in Seoul, South Korea. Yang Yang — director of COT system planning — told the guests about the strategic deployment and implementation steps of our plan to build a public blockchain based on the IoT and to build a blockchain-based intelligent hardware solution platform.
· On August 24th we were invited to participate in Ontology’s main network release in Tokyo, Japan. The COT team and more than 100 guests representing the Japanese government and businesses interests had n-depth discussions on topics such as: encouraging technological and economic innovation, helping physical industry, realizing digital transformation and building a distributed trust ecology.

On August 25th the COT team was invited to participate in Ontology’s Japanese community special event. The COT team discussed the application of blockchain technology in the field of intelligent hardware and IoT, the ontology networking model, our universal IoT and intelligent hardware system and our things-based trust systems.
3. Community growth
In August, we established the Korean and Japanese COT communities.
4. Co-construction
On the 19th of August, COT founder Wang Wen accepted an exclusive interview with Trueblocks: a well-known blockchain community in South Korea.
On the 22nd of August, COO Yuan Ning discussed the application of blockchain technology and the mutual trust and exchange of financial custody data services between different entities with the Shanghai Bank Fund Trustee Department.
