Dear community,

With the hotly anticipated Binance listing and deposit campaign, we think this is the ideal time to remind you how to protect yourself from scam attempts.

Scams come in many forms but are all designed to separate you from your money.

Here are some tips to avoid being scammed:

⚠️❗️ For Binance Deposit Campaign, follow Binance instructions mentioned here: https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360039754952
and don’t send your coins to anyone else.
If someone else gives it to you, consider it a scam!

👉 Admins will NEVER be the first to send you a private message. If you want to talk to an admin, you will need to initiate it first.

👉 If you and the admin are chatting in private messages, verify that the username is exactly the same one appearing in our pinned message and under “username”, not “bio”. You can also check that you have a group in common.

👉 Admins have a star (*) next to their username on the group members’ list.

👉 COTI’s domain is coti.io. COTI does not operate a domain name ending in .com or anything else.

👉 We will never ask you to send funds via email, Telegram or any other way!*

If you are unsure about any of the above, feel free to contact us in the group and an admin will assist you.

Except for the two following situations: 1. Staking for TestNet 2. BEP2 swap to COTI. In those cases, the request will be initiated by the user by sending an email to support@coti.io and not by the COTI team.
