COTI can be purchased directly, by more than 35 Fiat currencies, using Credit Cards and Debit Cards — all over the world.
We are excited to announce that as of now, COTI can be purchased directly with FIAT, facilitated by our partnership with Simplex.
By allowing users to purchase COTI directly with a credit card, debit card, or a bank transfer we add a huge liquidity source to our network and coin, as the process of purchasing COTI becomes far more easier and accessible.
To add to that, Simplex is not only integrated with major exchanges where COTI is listed, like Binance and KuCoin, but also with 200 other exchanges and platforms where COTI is not already listed, like Huobi, Trezor, Changelly.com, Changenow.io, OKEX and many more. This presents an opportunity for COTI to be exposed to new audiences and makes purchasing COTI even easier than before. Users can now use their preferred payment method, transfer FIAT, and type in a COTI wallet address. Within seconds, COTI will be transferred from a liquidity provider, buying COTI from the market, directly to the user’s wallet.
Having a direct Fiat On-Ramp to COTI is key for COTI’s whitelabel solution for enterprises who serve mass audiences, as their consumers are not comfortable with cryptocurrency wallets, but do own credit cards. With this integration, enterprises looking to issue tokens on COTI’s MultiDAG now have the added security of knowing will inherently be supported by an underlying fiat on ramp.
Enterprises who issue coins on COTI’s MultiDAG will now be able to offer their customers the ability to purchase their token, using a credit card, in over 35 currencies with global coverage, powered by COTI-X, planned to launch later this quarter. COTI-X will allow instant conversion between COTI to issued tokens, essentially allowing enterprises a fiat on-ramp for their token and further extending the utility of the COTI coin.
COTI now joins a selected club of the top 10 cryptocurrencies and 5 other exclusive currencies, including our partner CEL. Nimrod Lehavi, CEO for Simplex:
“Today COTI joins the ranks of tokens that can be bought directly with FIAT, like BTC, ETH, and XRP, to name a few. Simplex is the world’s biggest Fiat On-Ramp solution, designed to help people easily and securely buy crypto, wherever they may be. Simplex supports major credit card issuers, including Visa and Mastercard, to ensure seamless purchases. I’m happy to announce that COTI is now available through Simplex’s network and partners. Simplex helps millions of global users onboard to crypto, enabling the secure purchase of millions of dollars daily.”
Users who buy COTI can determine how they want their card purchase to be denominated. They can choose from North America (USD, CAD), Europe (EUR, CHF, CZK, DKK, GBP, HUF, NOK, NZD, PLN, SEK, TRY, MDL), Asia (ILS, JPY, KRW, RUB, AZN, CNY, GEL, KZT, PHP, QAR, UZS, VND), Oceania (AUD), Africa (ZAR, NAD) and Latin America (ARS, CLP, COP, CRC, DOP, PEN, UYU). They can still purchase even if their card is issued in another currency, but might incur an international use charge from their bank.
Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEO for COTI:
“Today marks a major milestone for COTI. Having a Fiat On-Ramp for a payment system is key for our core abilities and to our enterprise offering. Users can buy COTI directly from their preferred payment method, adding liquidity to our network from the millions of users that make their first steps to the crypto world and making COTI a coin of choice for many of them. We are currently in discussions with numerous platforms that wish to add COTI to their “buy crypto” page and we’re proud to say that our long time partner, KuCoin exchange, is already offering their customers to buy COTI with FIAT. Other partners to be announced soon”.
