COTI Roundup — April Highlights
March was a big month for COTI, but we’re pleased to say April was no less eventful. We’ve seen a string of new partners going live on Mainnet, transactions growing steadily in number, some great events, and plenty of publicity. Let’s dive in and see what the last few weeks have brought!
Network Activity Soars
We have seen strong growth since we last reported COTI’s on-chain activity two weeks ago.
- Total transactions have more than tripled to 22 million!
- 200+ new contracts have been deployed
- Five major new partnerships are in the works
These are all very positive signs, and it’s great to see the ecosystem gaining traction so quickly.
COTI Advances RWA Strategy with Global Partnerships
April saw a number of important events that helped to put COTI firmly on the map as an institutional partner for RWAs. These included founder-membership of the Africa Tokenization Council, with COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen and CEPO Joshua Maddox joining eminent leaders Dr Mansour Almalik and Alaa Bishara.
This was followed by the first RWA Summit roundtable in Dubai, an invite-only event, which saw top leaders from across the spheres of government, policymaking, investment, and technology, come together to tackle the challenges of tokenizing assets and infrastructure at scale.
The event boasted a prestigious guest list, including:
- Clare Francis, Board Member, Senior Advisor Bank of America (MLI), Baillie Gifford, CMC Markets, PBF
- His Highness Sheikh Awad Mohamed Bin Sheikh Mujren: United Arab Emirates Royal Family
- Johnny Reinsch, Executive Director, Tokenized Asset Coalition
among many others.
See our LinkedIn post for the full guest list.
During the RWA Summit, COTI announced its role as a founding member of the Saudi Arabia AI and Blockchain Centre (SAAIBC). The center aims to further the mission to accelerate AI and blockchain adoption across MENA and broader Africa.
Further roundtables are planned to take place throughout 2025, to continue the discussion, with the next one in Cannes during EthCC.
Partners Go Live on Mainnet
Many of our ecosystem partners have integrated the COTI Mainnet over the past few weeks, contributing to network growth, including:
- Bancor’s Carbon DeFi platform — a revolutionary DEX and pioneer of “asymmetric liquidity”
- ZNS, The domain name provider for COTI — get your .coti domain here!
- Subquery, a decentralized infrastructure network that provides data indexers, RPCs, and AI agents
- CodeX, the no-code platform for builders, which offers AI Agents, dApps, tokens, NFTs, and other Web3 tools
- Band Protocol, among the leading decentralized oracle providers
- Crafter, a no-code smart contract platform
- COTI Agents, an advanced platform for launching, training, and trading AI Agents, launched by MomentumX and with backing from the Google for Startups Cloud Program
- Poolz, the leading Web3 crowdfunding platform that offers privacy-first IDOs on COTI.
- Big Money, a fast-paced Telegram game that rewards players in $COTI tokens
In addition we welcomed in brand new partners Chains Atlas, the cross-chain AI agent platform, and Radardrop for automated airdrop farming. We look forward to these two new partners ‘going live’ on COTI Mainnet in the near future.
USDC.e Kicks off DeFi Growth on COTI
Stablecoins are critical to the Web3 ecosystem, providing price-stable assets for on-chain operations of all kinds. April saw COTI’s first stablecoin integration go live: USDC.e kickstarts COTI’s presence as a DeFi ecosystem. Shortly after the announcement, Bancor added USDC.e as an option for token swaps and liquidity provision on its cutting-edge trading platform, Carbon DeFi. Check out Bancor’s walkthrough to see how it all works.

Stay.COTI Movement Launches with Vibe Coding for No-Code Builders
As April got underway, so did Stay.COTI, a major builders initiative. Stay COTI leans into “Vibe Coding”: creating blockchain applications led by AI-driven low and no-code solutions.
AI tools are revolutionizing the way new dApps and services are being built and Stay COTI is the hub where creators, builders and entrepreneurs can engage with this no-code movement, whatever their technical skill level.
The first Vibe Code event took place in Bangkok, and despite the tragic earthquakes the previous week our team were pleased to bring together COTI ecosystem partners and ambassadors for two days of building. Check out the livestream here.
Our community is always open to new builders. Visit Stay.coti.io to join our regular no-code build sessions or to submit your app ideas for the community to vote on. Past live coding sessions can be found on our YouTube channel, and include walkthroughs on how to use different no-code and low-code tools.
COTI In The Spotlight
COTI core team members attended the Paris Blockchain Week (8–10 April) to shine a light on COTI’s new Mainnet — built for fast, accessible Web3 Privacy-on-Demand!
While there, COTI’s CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen met with top industry leaders and sat down with journalists from BTCTN, CryptoPotato, Genzio Media, and Mariblock.
In an interview with CryptoPotato, Shahaf discussed how Web3 must move beyond the standard trope of Privacy vs Transparency, arguing that we now have the technology to design systems that can balance both — offering flexibility and compliance depending on the use case and context.
Shahaf also spoke to BitcoinMagNL to discuss the importance of privacy on public blockchains, highlighting significant developments for mass adoption. Watch the full interview.
Also in April, we held the 8th COTI Connect Spaces, “AI x Web3: The No-code Revolution”, hosted by the inimitable Tracer. The session focuses on the Stay COTI movement. You can catch the recording here.
COTI’s CEPO, Joshua Maddox, joined the first @MomentumX Spaces. MomentumX is a key COTI ecosystem partner and an accelerator for projects building on COTI. Joshua appeared alongside inaugural MomentumX companies CodeX, Arbus, and Big Money, and together they dove into the startup journey of building privacy-preserving dApps.
Finally, Shahaf gave a community update, recapping a number of significant events — including Poolz offering privacy-first IDOs on COTI, Vitalik Buterin highlighting the potential of Garbled Circuits, and the Africa Tokenization Council co-hosting global leaders for a discussion on RWA at TOKEN2049. Watch his community address here.
News And Media
Given the pace of activity in April, COTI has unsurprisingly garnered a lot of media attention. The launch of the Africa Tokenization Council attracted articles in Blockster, and Binance among others. Meanwhile, the announcement of the formation of SAAIBC, with COTI as founding member, attracted press hits in U.Today, and Blockster, as well as Ishan Pandey’s article in Hackernoon. Pandey notes: “COTI’s entry into this ecosystem is not just symbolic. It shows that privacy-preserving infrastructure is becoming a strategic asset.”
Additional organic press mentions included an article in Bitcoin.com News, where Shahaf shared his thoughts on stablecoins and privacy, noting that “We’re not sleeping on this opportunity”. Finally, CoinPaper’s evergreen content gives an overview of COTI and its role as a confidentiality layer.
Last But Not Least…
We are pleased to share that Binance Custody, aka “CEFFU”, has listed and now supports COTI V2 Network and Tokens! Check it out!
Next up: We are kicking off May with a very big announcement next week that you won’t want to miss — so stay tuned to COTI channels!
