Djed’s First Anniversary

Yesterday, January 31st, we celebrated the first anniversary of Djed’s launch on the Cardano network. Looking back, we’re proud of everything Cardano’s first overcollateralized stablecoin has achieved over the past year. Throughout some extreme market volatility, Djed’s protocol proved its resilience and maintained its peg, and we’re excited to continue to develop during 2024. We look forward to share Djed’s next development plans in a dedicated article in the next few weeks.

SHEN Delegation Rewards

SHEN delegation rewards were calculated and distributed for Epochs 457–460. Around 50,000 ADA has been distributed amongst SHEN holders during these epochs.

Comparing COTI V2s Garbled Circuits to Other Privacy Solutions

In terms of privacy-preserving solutions for Web3, COTI V2’s use of garbled circuits is especially unique. Chosen for its benefits of extremely low latency and low storage requirements, along with a major breakthrough that reduces real-time round-trip communication, speeding up computation times, garbled circuits provide the functionality and versatility required for COTI V2. We took time to compare COTI V2’s garbled circuits to other privacy-preserving smart contracts solutions.

On the 25th of January, Tracer hosted Shahaf Bar-Geffen for an AMA where they covered the latest COTI V2 news and development, answered community questions, and shared some interesting plans for the future. gCOTI Community Campaign Ends on February 4th

The third COTI Community Campaign will close on February 4th. Community members still have time to create the ultimate shark tank pitch for a COTI Pay Business / PPN tech stack. 50,000 gCOTI is up for grabs for the most convincing, influential and creative pitch to be chosen by our devoted community judges!
