COTI V2 Mainnet is Now Live: A New Era for Web3 Privacy Begins
After two years of research, innovation, and development, we’re proud to announce the launch of COTI V2 Mainnet, unveiling the ‘missing link’ in Web3’s evolution: an accessible and scalable confidentiality solution.
COTI is a high-performance blockchain that unlocks Web3’s full potential through fast, lightweight Privacy-on-Demand, available to all major chains. Powered by an innovative on-chain implementation of Garbled Circuits, developed in partnership with Soda Labs, COTI is fast enough to scale to any device while offering speeds up to 3,000x faster than competing solutions. Stress testing shows COTI can handle 1,000 TPS for native transactions and 40 TPS for encrypted transactions, double the speed of our closest competitors.
Now that Mainnet is live, we will proceed to activate the broader ecosystem over the coming days and weeks. A phased rollout is planned to ensure network resilience and safety, giving the ecosystem room to root and grow sustainably.

Getting Your First $COTI V2 Tokens
We want to bring $COTI to as many people as possible, so the COTI Foundation will be dropping 100 $COTI V2 tokens to tens of thousands of wallets in the COTI community. To be the first to hold $COTI V2 tokens, all you have to do is add COTI’s network to your MetaMask — and claim!
To sponsor the upgrade from the current $COTI ERC20 tokens to $COTI V2, we’ll distribute 10 $COTI to all ERC20 COTI holders to cover gas fees, making sure the transition through our new Bridge is as smooth as possible.
New Explorer And Bridge
The Mainnet release includes a new Explorer and Bridge so users can upgrade from V1 to V2. Users with $COTI ERC20 tokens will need to use the Bridge and a MetaMask wallet to upgrade, adding the new COTI network to ensure V2 tokens are visible. Watch the walkthrough video for assistance.
Users with $COTI V1 tokens will need to add tthe COTI network to their MetaMask and swap their V1 tokens to V2 tokens via the COTI Pay VIPER wallet. The process is quick and easy. Follow along with the walkthrough video here.
