As the end of Q3 is approaching we are proud to announce the first release of COTI-X: COTI’s liquidity pool and fiat on-ramp!
COTI-X is the instant settlement layer of all forms of value on the COTI network for users, consumers, and merchants alike and is powered by the various COTI-X liquidity pools. As such COTI-X forms a critical part of the overall COTI ecosystem and allows us to bootstrap and supply liquidity to both the COTI network and external networks in a manner that was not previously possible. This means we can enable payments via the COTI network for more tokens and partner with more projects in a much faster manner.
More payment options means greater exposure of the COTI network to a much larger user base and gives merchants using the COTI network substantially more options when it comes to accepting various forms of payments, something we see as one of the key aspects of gaining widespread adoption of our COTI Pay product.
COTI-X enables COTI to process instant settlements on ANY cryptocurrency processed via the COTI network. This is a tremendous competitive advantage for COTI and our merchants over other crypto payment solutions that support slow and thus relatively unusable native chain payments.
In our previous article regarding COTI-X, we demonstrated the various use cases of COTI-X, the utility of the COTI coin within COTI-X, how COTI-X works within the overall COTI ecosystem, and the improvements and additions we have made to COTI-X as part of its developmental process.
We have expanded the original vision of COTI-X to allow more tokens to access both our own internal liquidity pools as well as external liquidity pools, such as Uniswap, to meet the market demands of 2020 and encourage increased and incentivized participation in this aspect of the COTI network.
Later this year we will introduce the COTI-X SWAP product line to allow easy access to fiat and liquidity to more projects and tokens who are looking to partner with us and utilize our unique instantaneous settlement solution.
