COTI’s IEO on KuCoin Spotlight creates buying frenzy
COTI successfully completed it’s IEO on KuCoin Spotlight on 4 June, 2019. COTI was one of the first selected projects to partner with Spotlight, which assists blockchain companies with raising funds, gaining market traction and raising industry awareness. COTI reached its $3m USD hard cap in line with high IEO demand.
KuCoin reports that 34,053 people from around the world tried their luck at purchasing COTI coins, while 5,623 users were actually successful in buying COTI coins. Participants first needed to win a lottery ticket on KuCoin in order to purchase a fixed block of COTI coins, and up to 2 lottery tickets per winning user were allowed. COTI successfully sold 46,152,000 COTI coins, which is 2.3% of the total COTI supply.
COTI reached its $3m USD hard cap, and its trading volume hit $1M USD within 30 minutes of launching. The COTI coin price sprinted over 10 times the opening value twice and stalled at a peak appreciation of X18.
