In Response to the Recent Outrageous FUD

It seems that recently we have had to deal with a group of people, spending a lot of time, writing elaborated fake posts about COTI. Why is this happening now? It’s obvious: the success of COTI attracts a lot of jealousy from a lot of salty people who missed the train or have been backing the wrong horse. COTI has been growing dramatically, working with top brands and partners, building and shipping great products and technologies. The market is starting to price that, putting COTI at its all-time high recently, leading to even more jealousy.

Lies about COTI are always written by anonymous new accounts, and the recent one is no different.

This itself should immediately raise a red flag: Why would someone write all these allegations but won’t stand behind them? The reason, of course, is that writing baseless lies is illegal and punishable. If it was the truth, a real person shouldn’t have problem standing behind it.

There is no point in addressing each and every lie written in this post that includes baseless lies, giant leaps in logic, false pretense and other cheap tricks and techniques taken from dark regimes propaganda. We’d like to summarize our reply with one clear statement:

COTI’s Team isn’t, and never has been, involved with Binary Options.

COTI is backed and has partnered with some of the world’s top investors and enterprises (Recruit Japan, Cardano Foundation, EY, Hard-Yaka, Celsius, Chainlink and more) — all are top professional and all have done their checks. The CEO for COTI is an army reserve officer and a well-known entrepreneur in the Israeli tech space, The CTO for COTI is a math PhD, holding 14 patents and the former head of research in IBM. We can go on and on with each and every member of COTI’s team, but in fact, we don’t even need to do it as the anonymous writer of the post doesn’t even point out to the vast team that COTI has but singles out one person: Samuel Falkon. This accusation is old and Samuel Falkon himself has already addressed this back in 2019:

“Hey, I wanted to comment on this since I don’t wish that non responsible information will move through the community. I (the article must be referring to me. I guess) had nothing with the market industry that goes by the name of “Binary Option.” as a marketing provider in my past, and as a marketing and content company I had involvement with multiple industries, among eCommerce sites, tv productions, gaming, fabric and clothing, and others. This is wrong what they are doing so I have no other choice but to approach them”.

The other person that is mentioned is Avi Chesed. To begin with, Avi Hesed is not affiliated with COTI since 2019. Even back then, Avi Chesed wasn’t the CEO of COTI but an advisor to it, and has never held the CEO position in COTI, but in Processing.com — and so it was always presented on COTI’s website. The writer of the deceitful post has used a fabricated photo, deleting the words “Processing.com” from Avi Chesed’s Title (CEO and co-founder Processing.com) to make it look as if the title is CEO for COTI.

This, in itself, is such a blunt fabrication to deter any reader from further reading this FUD post.

The post goes on and on about why the Binary Options industry is bad. We can only agree to that and reiterate that COTI and its team has nothing to do with that and there is not even a shred of evidence was provided to prove otherwise, but baseless acquisitions that make no sense.

The last paragraph of the post makes some last blurbs about COTI’s business “not being real”. Anyone that takes even a few minutes to read about COTI would see that COTI is leading the way in real world adoption, working with top industry leaders, with a run rate of over $250M in annual processing volume. We actually look forward to the “second post in the series” about COTI’s business as it will be a great opportunity to have a large audience see how well COTI is doing.

Always suspect anonymous posts with bombastic headlines. This is how fake news are made and how lies are being spread.

COTI’s success is the best answer.
