Meet The COTI Team, Featuring: Nir Arazi

As the COTI team continues to grow at a rapid pace, we wanted to introduce our team for you to get to know them better. This week, we are excited to introduce our Chief Operating Officer, Nir Arazi. Although Nir is not new to COTI, we thought it would be a good idea to formally introduce him. The COO holds one of the most valuable executive positions in the team.

We asked Nir six questions to get to know him better, check it out:

1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into Crypto?

I’m a long time enthusiast and believer in decentralized finance and blockchain technologies. In my early days, I studied economics and accounting, and later, I received an MBA. After school and a long career in the Israeli Air Force, I decided to act on my dream of changing the world of finance. I worked in the payments sphere and learned a great amount about DeFi and Crypto before making the transition to COTI.

2. What attracted you to COTI?

The Vision, the currency of the internet, the opportunity to make a change, and the people. I was attracted to COTI’s efforts to change centralized and decentralized finance. I knew that by joining COTI I could not only bring along my experience and make an impact, but also learn from some of the top industry leaders who I now get to call my teammates. COTI’s DeFi strategy, especially the CVI project caught my undivided attention, and pulled me ALL IN!

3. What do you hope to improve from within COTI’s business operations?

I think that COTI has one of the best (probably THE best) teams in the world. We recently grew the team with more outstanding people and we are continuing to build this special DNA and culture of excellence. My role is to take any business decision and execute it in the most professional and efficient manner.

I aim to keep improving current processes and to bring the most optimized communication tools into all of COTI’s different departments, which I believe is bound to make it more successful!

4. What is your role in CVI?

Besides being COTI’s COO, I’ve lately also taken on the leadership of the Crypto Volatility Index project as its General Manager. It is a great honor for me to be in charge of fulfilling this amazing idea from within the marvelous CVI Team. I think we are on the verge of an explosion with our DeFi volatility products. I am thrilled to be so actively involved in this revolutionary endeavor, and to be in the front row when everything finally comes together.

5. Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

I skateboard (skatepark and everything) with my kids.

6. Can you describe yourself in 3 emojis?

🔥 ❤️ 👊🏻

Stay COTI!
