COTI Research and Developers team

Over the last week, we finalized our successful community pre-sale with significant advancements in our ongoing research and development on all fronts of the COTI roadmap. The COTI alpha net is rapidly translating into real results.

  • We continued working on the COTI Trust Score Update Algorithms (TSUAs). We have defined the algorithm for tracking trustworthy vs bad-acting participants in the network and also added some basic implementations to the node handshake process. In our alpha net, the modules will be used for consumers and merchants, whereas in our test net, Trust Scores will be included to track node behavior and manage their reputation.
  • We have finalized our Mediation API, which will handle communication between the Mediation Server, Full Nodes, and wallets.
  • The development team has finalized the first KYC onboarding module, which will enable consumers and merchants to open their wallet. It will also ensure that the Trust Score Node can set the initial Trust Score set for each user in the COTI network.

  • The first release of our Trust Score Server is moving towards our first internal release planned for the end of June. We have finalized the first version that supports the Trust Score API. The current Trust Score Node consists of the following rules matrix: double spending, mediation ruling, turnovers and merchant chargebacks.
  • We have released the final version of COTI’s Mediation System specifications. The mediation process and nodes are currently in our expedited development phase.
  • Our research and development team is continuing work towards finalizing the first draft of the COTI base protocol. There has been a lot of progress in developing the following alpha net components:
  • Compose Hash Algorithm
  • Public Key (Signature)
  • Proof of Work (PoW)/Trust Score Algorithm
  • Our research team is also working on finalizing a network mechanism that will enable COTI to provide price stability and minimize volatility in a distributed ecosystem.

We are excited to announce that COTI’s community pre-sale has reached its cap! $3,001,028 contributed ! For more details, get in touch with us on our Telegram group or via email.
