Pritika Chowdhry is a socio-political, feminist artist who explores the legacy of the Partition of India in her art practice. She creates experiential art installations that are anti-memorials to the 1947 Partition of India, by excavating different counter-memories of this traumatic geopolitical event. These works are now part of the Partition Memorial Project, which she founded in 2007. It is an ongoing counter-monument to the Indian Partition, which is actively exhibited.
