7 Iconic Music Album Covers, Recreated Using AI
A digital twist on some of the most recognizable album art
There are some famous music album covers in modern history that are instantly identifiable. You know the band/singer, even if the cover doesn’t mention it explicitly.
While there’s nothing wrong with any of the original album covers — they’re iconic for a reason — I thought it would be fun to use AI tools to re-imagine some of them. The results are varied, but interesting! Here they are, in no particular order…
1. Abbey Road/The Beatles (1969)
Who can forget the image of the four Beatles walking across an intersection in London? Paul McCartney is famously not wearing shoes, and there are some interesting theories as to why (including that Paul was dead.) Turns out his footwear was just uncomfortable.
In this “new” version of the cover from DALL·E, all four members are barefoot. And the one that looks like John Lennon seems to be walking towards the others, instead of with them. What secret meaning does that have? Probably none.
