If you have freedoms guaranteed by law, it is easy to take those freedoms for granted. If you do not have freedoms guaranteed by law, you must fight for that freedom every day.
If you are like me and lucky enough to live in the United States or a genuine democracy with free elections, please take a moment to realize how lucky you are.
Remember, there are billions of people who live in nations where the most basic rights, such as the right to life, religion, free speech, assembly and possessions are not even protected by law.
In that light, I am honored to announce that in this week’s blog we travel to Iran and connect with Atefeh Sadr, an incredible artist whose very freedoms are in jeopardy.

Fortune magazine just released the NFTY 50, a list of the top 50 influencers, builders and creators in the NFT space. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the list, this is a sign that NFTs have moved into the mainstream of business and finance.
