Getting A Hair Transplant Was Stressful Yet Exciting

For a few years, I wanted a hair transplant. Hair loss is hereditary in my family. My grandfather is bald. My dad is bald. It would’ve been great if male pattern baldness skipped a generation, but the gene lingered.

I knew losing my hair wasn’t an option. Besides, I don’t look good bald. Hair transplants are expensive here in the United States. But, in Mexico, they aren’t. Yet I needed income I didn’t have.

I saved $10,000 after being fired from my factory job. I knew a hair transplant was necessary before the money dwindled. In 2021, I Zoom called a Mexican hair restoration clinic. I was excited it was happening and kept thinking, “I won’t lose hair.”

Once the call began and we said our pleasantries, the doctor was straight with me. He said I have plenty of hair left. Why don’t I try Keeps to maintain my hair? He said to check in after three months to check the growth. I, of course, didn’t since it was pointless calling back.

Once I bought Keeps, it worked, but buying it became an issue.

I still had a lot of money saved, yet paying $120 every three months for hair growth pills and foam wouldn’t cut it. A transplant is what I needed.
