Diversity Calendar 2024: DEI Inclusion Events, Cultural Months (diversityresources.com)

As October began, so many of us immediately raced in our minds to the very end of the month, and started thinking about pumpkins (with or without spice), costumes, tricks and treats. But the month has more to offer than that — and we don’t all want to be play acting as ghosts and ghouls all month. Some of us have a different view of Halloween/All Souls Eve/Samhain celebrations. People in some parts of the world may well think it’s all some kind of contagion which takes over Western minds at this particular time of year!

So while we will of course welcome writing about this particular cultural event — and we were obviously expecting a horror-fest to be happening in our ‘Film(&TV)’ section — let’s expand our horizons somewhat as well.

During Global Diversity Month seems the perfect time to extend a welcome to all of Medium’s new MPP members from a whopping 77 new countries, who have been finding and settling into new publications since being officially included in…
