Even in the southern hemisphere’s warmer climes, who couldn’t use a little extra love and affection right now?

Half the world is going to hell in a handbasket, and the boys in the big leagues seem fairly keen on stoking things up to the point of another Big Bang.

At least that would solve the climate crisis I suppose.

I mean, it would get a whole lot worse for a while sure, nuclear winter and all, but it would sure as hell thin the herd of the deadliest animals on the planet wouldn’t it? And with human’s given what they deserve, nature could do its thing and slowly begin to patch the old place up again. Might take a while, but some hardy species of plants would crawl out — some new ones too, irradiated cells would probably get a bit excitable and pop out something new, wouldn’t you think? Soon enough (in the grand scheme of things), the planet would be green and fertile again. Or I guess it might be purple, or perhaps orange, but hey, nature adapts doesn’t she.

Enough of that though. While we (humans) are still here, this month has been chosen by a lot of us to be the time we spread a little love around.
