A friend finder for Couples
We’re so excited that you’re interested in Coupled; welcome! Coupled is an app for couples to make friends with other couples, kind of like a friend finder.
We launched Coupled because we experienced and heard it was very frustrating for couples to make friends that BOTH partners enjoy hanging out with. Here’s the origin story:
My wife (Andrea) and I were thinking about an easier way to meet new couples, and we wished there was an app that helped us with it. We asked one of our close friends (Akhil & Zoee), and they were in a similar situation. We combined forces to build an app that helped couples find new friends also in relationships — Coupled was born.
We validated this need with colleagues & friends, who shared similar stories that included finding friends after relocating, being new parents, forced friendships due to their kids and finding a social life after their kids left the nest. We noticed that everyone was struggling to make new friends with others in committed relationships that matched their point in life & interests. We set out to build an easy & fun app, built for couples by couples!
Like the dating apps you may have used to find your partner, we help you and your partner to find other couples based on your interests, location and stage in life to make lifelong friendships. Whether you are a new parent, empty nester, young or seasoned professional, or looking for better kid playdates Coupled enables you to match with the couples that match your interests.
Swipe to show interest, scroll to learn about a couple, match and communicate all within Coupled. We even have a game you can play with your partner to help shape your joint profile. After you’ve started a chat with another couple & you’re all comfortable, plan a time to meet based on your similar interests. This could be a winery, brewery, coffee shop, golf course, tailgate or neighborhood/town event…really whatever you all enjoy doing.
