About Me

Hey, there! It’s Courtney.

First things first… My favorite Saturdays start with climbing 3,000ft and then eating a basket of french fries afterward. I get most of my talking points from the podcasts I listen to and finding out what motivates people feeds my soul. If I am not playing outside and taking in the world around me, I am probably inside learning something new because I believe that your brain needs exercise too.

Now let’s get down to business… My passion for product design blossomed while working in tech over the past 8 years. I found myself continually drawn to product, and dreaming of ways to help create solutions that solve customer’s problems. Taking my innate ability to put people first, and enthusiasm for beautiful, delightful design I go into each of my projects feeling energized, motivated, and passionate about what I am doing because I love working with people and creating solutions that make their lives easier.

I am currently working at Crexi, as a Senior Product Designer, where I get to disrupt the commercial real estate industry by designing solutions that make searching for, finding, and communicating about a property for sale or space for lease as easy as a click of a mouse. My mission is to humanize technology through making products that are more intuitive, user-centric, and cohesive.

My furry friend has inspired the personal project I am working on and the joy I get from working on this project comes from the connection that I feel when I talk to people about their animals. Think, “Doctor on Demand,” but for your pets! Wouldn’t it be nice to just call up a vet in the comfort of your own home? If you thought, “Yes!”… that is what my research told me too! I’m having a blast empathizing, defining, and creating ideas, and I am looking forward to the design and testing process. Keep and eye out for the finished product!
