This week, let’s celebrate the beginning of fall with songs that remind us of chill autumn nights, leaves crunching under our feet, and PSLs.

A few choices from this week:

Shea chose “Venice Bitch” by Lana Del Rey as his farewell to summertime:

Lana herself justified the existence of this end-of-summer epic by explaining that ‘some people just wanna drive around for 10 minutes and get lost in some electric guitar.’ As the lengthy track unfolds, the noodling guitars and warm FM radio vibes swirl together to create the sonic equivalent of dead leaves being softly tossed around by the autumnal wind.

Maggie was feeling spooky and chose “How Soon Is Now” by the Smiths:

It would not be a spooky / fall playlist without this song, which many may recognize as the ‘Charmed’ theme song (one of the best shows EV don’t @ me).
