Friday Feels: Songs We Won’t Be Singing

As much as we at Codeword consider ourselves karaoke experts, we still can’t hit every high note or master every rap verse. So this week’s playlist is dedicated to all the songs we’d love to perform but could never pull off.

Dai chose “The Promise” by When in Rome:

I think a normal person could sing this, but I have the voice of a toad who ate a brillo pad.

Austin chose “What’s My Name?” by Rihanna ft. Drake:

I mean, I can obviously pull off the Drake part, but Rihanna’s hook is where the real karaoke magic is at. I’m not sure the world is ready for my rendition.
