Dear Community,

We are excited to announce that the Covesting Release Candidate — along with our trading competition — is about to go live! This means that the Release Candidate is now open to all registered users and available at the official website covesting.io.

We are also happy to share that we are ready to start accepting documents and verify user accounts (KYC)! However, deposits will remain limited until we receive final approval from GFSC regarding the DLT license, which essentially allows us to store and transmit digital assets belonging to third parties.
Now, you have a great opportunity to explore the platform features prior to the official launch!

Trading Competition

Our highly anticipated trading competition will last for four weeks (but may potentially be extended) and will consist of 200 participants. These users will be provided with $100 to trade with on Covesting platform and compete against one another.

How to apply for participation:

1. Register at the covesting.io and confirm your email (you can use your existing account if you have one);
2. Complete the KYC procedure ;
3. Fill out
this form.

In order to participate, competing traders must set their profile to public. The deadline for registration is September 24th and the competition will start on September 25th, but we encourage you to apply earlier as participants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. $100 to all qualified participants will be credited on September 25th.

A prize of 10,000 COV will be distributed amongst the top 10 traders based on their trading performance.

Report bugs, get rewards!

In addition to the trading competition, users will be able to earn other prizes by participating in our bug bounty program (5,000 COV in rewards). Prizes with be offered to users who find and report bugs between the four-week period in which the trading competition takes place. There is no limit to the number of participants that want to take part in our bug bounty program — everyone is welcome. We will pick 10 winners based on the quality, quantity and severity of the reported bugs. Please, report the bugs via Bug Report form in the platform, e-mail support@covesting.io or through the report-a-bug form in the Help center.

The Release Candidate and trading competition is a great way to test the execution of our new trading engine, gain insight into KYC processing times (allowing us to hire additional onboarding team members to ensure the verification time is under 24 hours once fully launched) and gather important feedback and reports regarding platform improvements.

We are incredibly excited to finally open the latest version of the platform to the public, and to provide the cryptocurrency industry with a new level of compliance, security and trading features. We would like to thank the Covesting community for their ongoing support and are looking forward to seeing you participate in the trading competition and/or bug bounty program!

At the moment, Covesting’s management team is in Gibraltar completing the final documentation/formalities in order to be one of the first companies in the world to obtain the DLT license — completing yet another roadmap milestone.
