Lockdown plan during a virus crisis

Writing a lockdown plan takes some time. It needs some steps to have a good lockdown plan. Here is an idea of such a plan.

Authority needs to understand when this lockdown is needed and needs to have a lockdown plan (Wikipedia, N.D.).

I think the world needs one lockdown plan too. Where we combine all the knowledge and keep working on better plans. The way we have food plans. We all know what to eat, we all need to know what to do with a virus, and we can.

For this lockdown type we need:

At first… (Hachmer, 2019)

Input — processing — output

Understanding of this process of correct information, data, truths, knowledge, science, research that will be processed in the mind, and will create output after processing.

And what f=m*a means, and the velocity.

And how we get input from others, or from a situation, and process that input, and will be having an output after processing, which will be someone else's input. Your processing will make not only just output but someone else’s input. People will depend on your output.

You need to have the best output, so you need to be the best processor, and be the best, with the best input, so the people will survive, with your output, because you will be being their input.

And we can add good and best input to you, so you process that information, and will have the best output, that will be the better input for others, to process in their minds. So, you can change you, to be better for others.

After understanding this, you will get the people processing the input you already know, thus the studies you have done, plus the lockdown plan, and all why this should happen, and the moment, there is this current moment, when there is a lockdown. And you will face that moment with the best plan for this moment.

(But needs to be the best-studied advice only, the real truth. )

So to create a better plan:

  • You add better input.
  • Or you let someone lead, that processes all the best input best. And is just better at processing, and able to take in more input. And will create the best output after processing the best input. The bigger the person you need for this. A manager decides to quit sometimes(DeRue, et al, N.D.), because a manager is aware we need the best, and for all people, and not at all times that is us.

The only goal is the best situation.

Then…

What do you have? Do you have it all? You need all this and more.

  • Studies:

Biology, virology, social epidemiology, epidemiology, health sciences, psychology, chemistry, and anything in these studies, understanding the virus. And having the best input, the most correct input, and have processed this correctly, as a real studied person. Able to really create precise output.

  • Roles:

Being a scientist, a researcher, data scientist, and must be good in math, formulas, and statistics, understanding formulas, data, and when precisely a lockdown should be needed.

  • Empathy and understanding consequences (right from wrong):

Needs to have empathy, needs to understand what this really does to people, and must be a doctor figure understanding why we choose for health a lockdown. Needs to understand the damage if not to. Needs to understand the consequences if we do, and when the good outcomes will be. Or when the best outcome will be.

This plan you will make can not be an opinion, as people depend on the decision, and this is a research place, a place of study, we can study these things, have studied these things, and need the people that know these things.

  • Academic skills:

Good academic skills explaining the people, the science, the data, the research, the reasons for the lockdown. And until precisely when this is needed.

  • Knowledge of all the laws, rules, ethics, profession codes, boundaries of people, and their work, and puzzle with that.

Needs to know all human rights very well, also all ethics, and all profession codes, of everyone that will be working on this situation, and see the boundaries of each person and profession, and puzzle out the best way to solve this.

  • Managing well.

Must be a good manager, puzzling this out into a protocol. Where there is only the precise truth, and correct understanding, and in detail, and told in easiest ways to all people involved.

This is about having logic, skills, and understanding of the situation.

So, the studies say…and you use the roles within you, that you have, and need now, with empathy, and knowing right from wrong, your academic skills, and knowledge of all the rules, and codes, and manage this well, and puzzle this out into a protocol.

You can if you…

Know all these details, and where you lack, add skills, understanding, knowledge and become a role, learn how to do this. And manage you and your plan well. So, you can manage the people and the situation well.

Ideas to add in the plan…

For our country:

  • Know the travel routes, know where the virus comes from.
  • Have check-ups with tests, we need the data.
  • Have home tests, free tests, and more types of tests, to know at home what you might have before you see a doctor. Teach people to differ illness, make them the help of the doctor, but with knowledge.
  • Give everyone around the world, that is traveling from the area of the virus, free tests. So, we get data. So, we can measure faster how fast this accelerates, and how fast people might die. Teach people the need for this, so all countries start thinking of this, and we all can share the costs.
  • Have special suits ready. Have them checked now and then. And have the equipment. And have a plan for how we can share equipment when needed. A plan for the world. Also, how we get more equipment when needed. There is a boundary in what you can give away, or get. As the virus spreads, people will need the equipment, but our country too, the moment can come, and you need to be ready. So, have some spares.
  • Teach people the lesson of doctors deciding. Until when who decides. The doctor or you. And let the patient decide wherever the doctor actually has no knowledge.

Deciding things in crisis, who decides?

For example teach: Until here, you can decide about giving up a hospital bed if you and I agree. And only then you can decide, all alone, if you take the place now, or later. And if you can give up a place now for someone else.

Sometimes the doctor has instinct, also without data, and knows that you ll die, or are too ill. The doctor then says, honestly, in my past as a doctor, I think you will die, it is a hunch, I do not mean to scare you, but I can not say, I don’t have a hunch.

Actually, only in deadly situations, a doctor controls. I think it helps to solve a lot of issues, to be clear and honest about till how far the doctor decides.

The moment the doctor has no results clear that you ll die or are too ill, and has no hunch, you decide to give up your place or not. But if you have a hunch, you need to be honest and take the place, no matter the outcome.

And this process needs to go without any judgment, people need to learn to do this.

And with that, we need to teach people the risks of choices. And to have an instinct, and to have an intuition. So, we add instinct, and intuition, and hunches, and no judgment to the plan.

This solves the decisions made by others, while their job stopped actually. And continuing deciding for others, could become skipping the people.

People know themselves best sometimes, especially when beds are taken, and doctors just can not know which one will die, this part of the plan will help all people.

And it is unethical to give the doctor this burden of death and to give the doctor all these court problems because the doctor chooses, while the patients can decide themselves, or better say, can tell what they feel. It is about in the space where we do not know, what do we hunch? Sometimes you have one, sometimes not. But you actually have the right to get your choice then, your faith, and you will.

And some will die, being wrong with their own decision. But why should the doctor live the results of a wrong decision? Because if the doctor just decides for ya, the doctor just picked something and did not really choose professionally.

In the area where the profession stops, it is just a choice, not really intuition filled up with knowledge anymore, just gambling. There you should decide, about you. And when having the right to a bed, take it, when you fear or have hunches, take it. It is the fairest.

And if the doctors has results for the other patient that are clearly worse results, the doctor decides.

This part of the plan also saves time. As the patient is deciding, and the doctor his her mind is free to decide other things and to be doing other things. Deciding who will need the bed can take a lot of time.

But we should give the patients time to think about it, so they can feel their instinct, their hunches, their intuition and take a bit of time to judge the situation. And to just feel the body and situation, and tell what they feel. If they feel ill, they can now say it and will be helped, if they feel fear or a hunch, they can just take their place.

If their instinct and belief in God say, no I want to be the hero, I can give up my bed, I truly have no signs that I need it right now, they can give the bed up, for this moment.

Because if you actually somehow know inside of you you 'll make it another day, the other person also got from you another day, this day, that you can say no, where you can stretch a day.

But we do not always know for sure, what we secretly have within the body, and how the situation can turn suddenly, and we can not always let patients decide themselves, so it is risky and some should not dare this at all.

But doctors just asking saves us all the moment of if only I, and I wish I had… And saves some traumas for the doctors deciding wrongly for others.

We can have an open place to tell our intuition, wishes, fears, hunches, and can be respected for that.

More ideas for the plan

  • So the development of, instinct, intuition, and decision making, and understanding boundaries, and who makes when a decision. Having this in the plan means we can train this before the actual lockdown happens. So, during the lockdown, people know what to do, and all will go more smoothly.
  • Let doctors come to the homes, in suits. When people test and get the results of the virus.
  • Lockdown people that were near the virus, etc and take all the steps we can take, with the moments of lockdowns, with the studied people on the when should we lockdown. Because they really know what all the studies say.

Research theses, proof, a certain logic.

Use research, proof it, but also have a certain logic. When you studied viruses a lockdown is more logical, than when not studied.

Have for all stages, and places that can be locked down protocols, and a total protocol. Clearly showing, when we have a virus that starts at this point we do, and those do, and from… and when we have a virus starting at that point we do, and those do, and from… etc… and who is needed for that task, what roles, and what profession codes, and studies, and what the task precisely will be.

Project management (Meloni, N.D.)

Also, what we do with an old virus and new virus. And a project management style plan, where we know how much time there is to finish the task, and when the next task must be started. So we see the slack, and we see the moments it must be done.

I think we should research the steps a lot, so we have all the proof and understanding of why we do the things we do. So, it is clear to everyone why we do it.

Listeners and psychologists to help during a crisis (7cups, N.D. )

I would add listeners, to give the people that get fear, and other problems empathy, and help them think and solve the situation.

To have and listeners and psychologists, creates a smaller waitlist for a psychologist, as the listener solves a lot already. But also most people can solve themselves and just need a listener.

But with the listener, you can decide to contact a therapist.

Because this is online, we can always help people, until the internet falls out. But it could be a part of the plan, how we save the internet access for all people, during a lockdown.

Creativity

People will get through a lockdown in some ways, we need to think creatively about what will help them.

Ombudscycle for every case (Ruggiero, et al, N.D.)

So, we learn from the past and keep working on every part of the situation, also when it is solved. A continuous cycle of working on the plan, and making it better for future use.

A bridge between people and cultures (DeRue, et al, N.D.)

Studies are the bridge between cultures, thus we can create a global idea for such a lockdown plan.
