Leading Social and Economic Recovery: Crisis Communication and School Reopening
The Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative is supporting mayors as they manage the pandemic. A second virtual session in a new series on recovery held on July 23, 2020, focused on crisis communications and safe school reopening.
In the second session, Juliette Kayyem, Belfer Senior Lecturer in International Security at Harvard Kennedy School, explored strategies for effective communication in the midst of a complex and evolving crisis. The session was moderated by Harvard Business School Professor Rawi Abdelal, faculty co-chair of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.
