Emergence poems #2

As COVID was emerging, and just before the lockdowns that have changed our lives, I read this new poem at a Campfire Convention Winter Gathering in Frome. The days around it, in February 2020, were literally stormy, and the roads around the town were all flooded. I arrived, flustered and troubled, but took solace in the companionship of friends.
