The COVIDaction team would like to give thanks to the stellar panel of experts that supported the review process to arrive at the Top 30 Finalists for the Resilient Health Systems innovation call.

A minimum of 300 expert hours (and likely much longer) went into the first two evaluation rounds with 36 expert reviewers committed to the task. We’re so grateful for the time and expertise they shared to support the call’s selection process. All experts served in a personal capacity, bringing their health systems and digital health expertise to the review process, and did not represent the organisations with which they are associated.

We also would like to thank the experts we consulted to guide us in the development of the concept for the call. They steered us away from “solutions looking for problems” towards a focus on the biggest vulnerabilities of low- and lower-middle-income countries to be able to maintain essential health services while responding effectively to the immediate COVID-19 crisis. The huge and positive response to the call is a testament to their insights that helped scope it.
