It is an amazing thing in retrospect how friendly we were with the Chancellor and his police state thugocracy in the late thirties and early forties. It has come to the attention of Civilianmilitaryintelligencegroup.com that the entire article is available on Google Images and so I picked it up before some nefarious agency removes them. The Homes & Gardens article was written by Ignatius Phayre.
