“At Home With Hitler”

The Fürher’s home was featured in Home & Gardens in November 1938

It is an amazing thing in retrospect how friendly we were with the Chancellor and his police state thugocracy in the late thirties and early forties. It has come to the attention of Civilianmilitaryintelligencegroup.com that the entire article is available on Google Images and so I picked it up before some nefarious agency removes them. The Homes & Gardens article was written by Ignatius Phayre.

They belong to posterity.

Here they are in all their glory. They are quite readable.

This is the cover oif the issue Hitler was featured in.

“Hitler loves people. And they love him” it says.

Here is Hitler’s home in the bavarian Alps.
“In his hours of ease — the Furher in the garden with one of his pedigree Alsatians.”
“A corner of the sun-parlous overlooking the terrace. Here councils are held in rainy weather when it is not possible to sit outside” the caption reads.
Here the caption describes Hitler planning another annex. Oh, the irony.
