In 1987 I was living and working in Richmond, Virginia at a famous ad agency, The Martin Agency. Now they are known for their work on GEICO. I worked on Allison, Gas Turbine Division of GM. So I read Aviation Week & Space Technology. In one issue, I found this ad in the classifieds in the back.
At the time Iran and Iraq were engaged in a bloody war. This was an Iranian call for a pilot to crash a plane into an Iraqi ship. Amazing.
