Pausing the Math Reform Initiative

After a great conversation with a few representatives of the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM), I’ve decided to pause the Math Reform Initiative. The discussion with the OCTM gave me some good ideas about how to implement the courses that I want — Sex Education, Media Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Mental Health — without necessarily reducing the Math credit requirement.
I plan on taking some time to change my strategy a little bit, which is why I’m pausing both the petition and this initiative for now.
