I hate Stringer Bell.

This was about a celebration for Jonathan Abrams’ new book “All The Pieces Matter,” an oral history on HBO’s “The Wire.”It was about fans rejoicing over the greatest show to air during the peak of anti-hero television.

Nope. Stringer Bell Stans ruined that.

Russell “Stringer” Bell is a double-crossing-woman-stealing-bad-drug dealing-want-to-be economist-homophobic-poor investing-heartless snake.

My hate for Bell is beyond the TV show too. I’ve counted the times Idris Elba has died or suffered (current count is four) in other movies.

I’m not alone in this hate, either. ESPN’s Bomani Jones has been on the record numerous times about his hate for Bell.

David Simon hated Bell. In the original script, Omar was to urinate on his carcass after blasting him with his shotgun.

Idris Elba hated Bell.

Why don’t you clowns hate Bell?
