B PASS provides a safe storage for all the Korean government-issued certificates
Coinplug team is happy to announce that we will link B PASS, our blockchain DID-based identification app, to the Government24 (정부24) portal to provide a secure and convenient service to Busan citizens.
The new service is being done in collaboration with Busan City government and is part of the Blockchain Regulatory Free Zone. The Government24 portal issues over 100 different types of certificates and, through this integration, users will be able to store them in an electronic wallet in the B PASS app. Users will be able to access the acquired certificates at any time and submit them online to different institutions (businesses/agencies/insurance companies, etc). This will also reduce the big amount of paper normally used for different kinds or processes.
B PASS is Busan’s designated DID-based identity verification service. It integrates easy authentication for public and private services in South Korea’s second largest city with 3.4 million habitants. B PASS’ DID technology allows a secure identification and authentication of certificates’ ownership rights. This is essential for the non-face-to-face certificates submission processes.
