Day Two from Camp

Today was our first full day at the camp in Ryazan and it was a blast.

This morning, we started the day with a morning devotion near the pond and discussed Abraham. After a quick breakfast, we had our day two session lead by Pastor Eric. Today, we talked about Justified Grace and what that means. Tony and Josh shared their testimonies to the group and as the crew yesterday, did an amazing job.

After lunch, we broke into a few different workshops that the campers could choose:
1. English (which they know a lot of already!)
2. Time Management
3. Personalities

These workshops were great and the campers really got a lot out of them. After the workshops, we had a special ice cream treat as it’s Scott’s birthday! Happy Birthday, Scott!

Tonight, we ended the night with a short worship (inside to avoid the mosquitos) and skits based on the stories we are learning this week.

One thing we have noticed is how these campers are connecting with us and the teachings. A lot of the campers have heard of God and Jesus, but are very early on in their Faith journey. It has been amazing to see the campers grow and start telling us their stories, open up about their past, and how they want to find the Lord in their life.
