Last Evening at Camp and Prayer Walk
Good evening Chapel Roswell and RUMC family!
Today was the last full day of camp in Ryazan. We will have a short session in the morning before heading back to Moscow. It was another full day and ended with a powerful prayer walk in the evening.
The schedule of the day was pretty similar as yesterday before the evening. Today, we discussed Sanctifying Grace and Tegan, Diane, and Scott all shared their personal testimonies.
We also found out that Eric is not very good at telling jokes. His joke of what do you call a cow with no legs (ground beef), did not translate well in Russian.
The main event of the day happened in the evening. After dinner we started a campfire and introduced the campers to s’mores. While the adults liked them, the children loved them. Following some fun we started the prayer walk based on the Lord’s Prayer. There were seven different stations where the campers could go and complete a task. This ranged from drawing art, using a prayer rock, or completing a prayer. Following the tasks, most people met with their small groups of the week and discussed what they just experienced. It was a very powerful night for everyone here.
We are sad to leave Ryazan and the campers tomorrow. This week has been nothing short of amazing for all here. We are excited to continue our relationship with the team and campers after this week as well.
Love and peace to all reading,
The Chapel Roswell Team.
