“No! Don’t leave me! I’m sorry, I swear I’ll never ignore You again!” I sobbed as I tried to catch hold of Her. Or even the helm of Her dress.
But She remained tantalisingly out of my reach. Calmly, She started to walk away.
“No! Come back! Speak to me! I know You wanted to tell me something but I just woke up! You know how bad-tempered I am when I just woke up in the morning, especially when I haven’t had my coffee yet! Please!” I screamed and I ran after Her. “Stay!”
The faster I ran though, the farther She appeared to be. She had never looked more beautiful than She was then, Her long flowing hair and fluttering dress, the epitome of elegance. And I was losing Her to the unknown abyss!
I had to do something! Anything! And quick!
“It’s all Their fault! They’re not around when You wanted to speak to me!” I pointed to my trustworthy friends. Better They be dead than Her, each to His own!
“Hey, don’t you dare lay this on Me!”
“What do you mean I’m not around? I was right there near to you!”
“I work as hard as you do, you know! But there is only so much I can do!”
Notebook, Sticky Note and Pen retorted in a chorus of indignation
She did not listen to anything that was said. She turned Her head back to me, gave a weak smile and was out the window.
“No!” I screeched. “Come back!”
