Cradles Seed Investment Round Concludes $1.2M
We are pleased to announce that Cradles has now secured $1.2M in seed investment from global top notch investors, including Sfermion, Spartan Group, Huobi Ventures, LD Capital, Signum Capital, Animoca Brands, Republic Realm, Cointelligence, DWeb3 Capital, Youbi Capital, and D1 Ventures.
The round also witnessed participation from notable Angels including:
Polygon’s co-founder Sandeep Nailwal; Michael Kam, co-founder of Double Peak Group; Jeremy Ong from Delphi Digital; Suji Yan, founder and CEO of Mask Network, Kieran Warwick, co-founder of Illuvium and Harsh Rajat, founder of EPNS.
This influx of new capital will aid us in the further expansion and development of our flagship product — Cradles: Origin of Species, a next-gen MMORPG powered by blockchain, featuring the first dynamic NFT system and entropy-increasing game world.
DRepublic, the core team behind Cradles, is deep in technical development, with its unique premise of entropy manipulation, city-states, and prehistoric civilizations, wrapped around a brand-new ERC protocol, called ERC-3664. This will allow the game props to be upgradable, changeable and combinable. Also, the DRepublic team has attached a time attribute to all in-game props, achieving time-lapsing effects never seen before in a game of this scale, for instance, swords rust or apples rot over time.
Blockchain-evolving attributes on NFTs make for interesting and practical use cases that Cradles hopes to demonstrate in real time.
