Cradles Weekly Report

11–17 April 2022

Welcome to the third weekly report on Cradles: Origin of Species product developments as we work on one of the most ambitious gaming projects to use blockchain technology to bring about gameplay effects we promise you’ve never seen before!

Here’s what we’ve been up to over the past week.

Game development

We completed the following tasks:

  1. Completed Guild System in general.
  2. Preliminary discussions. on One-Handed Daggers and Axes skills.
  3. Completed Dragontar Dress-up system.
  4. Joint debugging testing of Dress-up system.
  5. Fixed task system bugs.
  6. Began work on achievement system.
  7. Added scenes and NPCs to duel system.
  8. Completed 90% of Arena features (client-side).
  9. Fixed collision problem between players and NPCs.
  10. Optimized head details of Dragontar.
  11. Blend Node test of Dress-up.

We have planned these actions for next week:

  1. Joint debugging testing of previously completed.
  2. Work on achievement system.
  3. Finish all Arena features.
  4. Continue to optimize player experience in completed areas.
  5. Develop AI battle system for NPCs.
  6. Begin work on features of steed system (Horse and Triceratops art models and animations now available).

Game Design

We completed the following tasks:

  1. Followed up on outsourcing of Cradles key visuals, special effects, and movements.
  2. NFT Staking Plan of No Fishing.
  3. Designed skills of Witch and improved model.
  4. Revised and graded arms.
  5. Designed BOSS images.
  6. Improved skills icons and cover of desert map.
  7. Adjusted details of Arcata city-state layout.
  8. Followed up on concept map and design of single buildings.
  9. Redesigned jewellery store.
  10. Organized design materials for characters’ suits, props (weapons), etc.
  11. Designed one-handed swords, one-handed axes, and magic wands, from level 10 to 60.

We have planned these actions for next week:

  1. Design ghost model and guide/trainer for novices.
  2. Revise storyline and other tasks.
  3. Improve settlement interface
  4. Continue to improve design of other buildings in city centre.
  5. Ensure design outsourcing is on schedule.


We completed the following tasks:

  1. Revised fourth version of “World View”.
  2. Updated Cradles official website (60% done).
  3. Prepared materials and scripts for promotional key visuals.

We have planned these actions for next week:

  1. Continue updating Cradles official website (PC).
  2. Develop Cradles official website on mobile (HTML5 pages)
  3. Follow up on outsourcing of promotional videos and key visuals.
