We’re so proud of our graduating cohort! It’s always a special feeling when the students present their final project — proving to themselves how far they’ve come.

Founder and Head Coach Thomas gets introduced by cohort mentor Hanna

Many of the students plan to continue their work on the final project together, since it’s a project close to their hearts.

Gather Your Thoughts-team

Gather Your Thoughts team — Alfred and Scott

First up was the team Gather Your Thoughts. They presented an app which allows you to quickly take notes on your day and your thoughts. When you make an entry you get to choose your mood and add labels. Labels get suggested based on the content of your post, but you can also add your own. In the app you see the data beautifully represented with diagrams, and you can sort the posts by labels and time.

Timber-team

Timber team — Sophie, Francesco, Lisa and Zuzanna

Team Timber presented an alternative way to share pictures with your family, for those who want to keep their photos privately inside their family circles. When you sign up to the site you create your family by adding your last name. Once you’ve signed in you can invite other people to the family, and automatically share your uploaded photo albums with them. That way you both share the pictures with your family, and back them up on the cloud.

PlantEd-team

PlantEd team — Mariza and Oliver

Mariza got the idea for PlantEd during the course, when she was so busy she kept forgetting to water her house plants. She teamed up with Oliver and created a web application which reminds you to water your plants. You can choose your house plant from an existing database, and choose the watering frequency. When your plant needs watering you will get a text message reminding you to do so — saving your plants, your fresh air and your money!

Certificate ceremony

After the presentations the teams, coaches, friends and family celebrated with drinks and food (and tasty sweets made by the junior Jade). Once everyone was fed and happy Founder and Head Coach Thomas presented the certificates to the students, telling everyone a short story about each student.

Congratulations, graduates! Well fought.

Lots of food and hugs — perfect when you’re recovering from a bootcamp!

Craft Academy is a Tech Education Provider that aims to bring new talent to the market and help to solve the shortage of tech workers. We are founded on the belief that modern development standards, agile methodologies and business skills are fundamental for ITC professionals.

Our primary service is a 12-week coding bootcamp designed to provide individuals with a foundation of skills that allows them to enter the industry as junior developers.

With that foundation, our learners find employment in various industries or start their own businesses that bring new innovations to the market.
