Crates + Spotify : Browse by Playlist!
Easily find tracks on Beatport from your favorite Spotify playlists.
We originally launched Crates to make shopping on Beatport better for DJs. This included automatic integration with YouTube (helping DJs preview entire full length tracks for free before buying), along with auto-hiding those pesky re-released tracks that clutter your Beatport feed.
It’s been awhile since we’ve added something new to Crates, but we’re excited to announce our first integration with Spotify…
DJs can now browse their favorite Spotify playlists directly in Crates. When you add a Spotify playlist to Crates, we’ll automatically look up every track on Beatport so you can add them to your next set.
Here’s how it works:
- In the side navigation of Crates, look for the new Playlists option.
- Click “Add Playlist”, then paste in the Spotify URL or URI.
- To access that playlist quickly in the future, click “Add” in the header to save it for future reference.
DJs can load up any Spotify playlist they’d like — from Spotify’s own official playlists to your own personalized ones. Here’s how it looks on Crates:
Not every track on Spotify is on Beatport, though. If you see any greyed out tracks that means Crates wasn’t able to find the song automatically.
