Seems like a great invention which people can leverage without the attachment of stigma surrounding mental health.

I like how they have stated that they did not use data dumps to train Woebot but have used NLP and HCIs. These will probably serve as a fresh dataset to train a host of new features and could be the first step in integrating artificial intelligence in healthcare sector.

Having said that, it’s a great way for someone like Facebook to gain access to critical health data. Given that they have explicitly stated that conversations will be governed by Facebook’s regulations, is the anonymising feature of any benefit at all?
