Memories of a Wonderful Week: Celebrating Team Unity
The spirit of excitement and camaraderie filled the air as Crayon recently hosted an unforgettable event that brought us all together to celebrate the remarkable journey of our organisation. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be part of an exceptional team that makes the office feel like a home away from home.
The Onsite week which took place in Vienna between 02.10.2023–06.10.2023 was a testament to the bond we share, turning a routine team-building event into a truly unforgettable five-day experience, where some may or may not have shared a tear at the end. Our time together was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a strong sense of unity.
A magnificent castle, games, delicious food, and great discussion became the buzzwords of our memorable week. We all came together from all over the world with open hearts and open minds, shedding the formalities of our professional roles to reveal the incredible individuals that we are. Colleagues I’d worked with for months, but barely knew beyond our professional interactions, impressed me in the most delightful ways. Empathetic, serious, kind and fun — it turns out they were all these things and more.
Our week was a blend of both professional growth and personal connections. We engaged in discussions on strategic business topics, such as enhancing our Data & AI sales strategies and strengthening collaboration among teams. But we also indulged in the culinary delights of Austrian cuisine, and fairytale locations, sharing pita and stories, and fostering a sense of togetherness that transcended the boardroom.
Our recreational activities were equally rewarding, as we played volleyball with an oversized ball and uncovered the hidden talents of our teammates.
These moments of shared laughter and discovery only deepened our bond.
This extraordinary week left us all feeling not just appreciated, but also deeply respected. I believe that we’ve forged connections that will last a lifetime, knowing that we can trust one another and count on each other’s unwavering support on any project, no matter how challenging.
Our shared experiences have reaffirmed the strength of our team, and I am grateful for the genuine friendships and professional relationships that have emerged from this special week.
As we return to our regular work routines, I hope we carry the spirit of this unforgettable week forward, cherishing the memories we’ve created and the bonds we’ve strengthened.
