I Lost My Paper Journal at the Airport
Score one for digital notes
Last week, I was traveling.
I had one carry-on bag with everything in it. It was one of those large traveler backpacks that also unfold like a suitcase.
It has a bunch of pockets in it.
I had put a water bottle in one of the main pockets right above my journal (for some reason this backpack does not have a side water bottle holder, but I digress…)
And I swear to you my nice maroon Moleskine journal was right below it.
It looked like this:
Perhaps I pulled it out to read something.
Or to remove my water bottle from the bag.
Or maybe it just fell out.
I don’t know.
I started in a smaller airport in Louisiana and then transferred in Atlanta, Georgia and then landed in Newark, New Jersey. That’s three different airports, but I’m fairly certain I lost it in the first airport.
It was the last time I remembered seeing it after I realized it was gone.
I’ve only been in this particular one for 2 months.
I did a lot of the Daily Examen work in there, along with a few other personal notes.
