I Lost My Paper Journal at the Airport

Last week, I was traveling.

I had one carry-on bag with everything in it. It was one of those large traveler backpacks that also unfold like a suitcase.

It has a bunch of pockets in it.

I had put a water bottle in one of the main pockets right above my journal (for some reason this backpack does not have a side water bottle holder, but I digress…)

And I swear to you my nice maroon Moleskine journal was right below it.

It looked like this:

Perhaps I pulled it out to read something.

Or to remove my water bottle from the bag.

Or maybe it just fell out.

I don’t know.

I started in a smaller airport in Louisiana and then transferred in Atlanta, Georgia and then landed in Newark, New Jersey. That’s three different airports, but I’m fairly certain I lost it in the first airport.

It was the last time I remembered seeing it after I realized it was gone.

I’ve only been in this particular one for 2 months.

I did a lot of the Daily Examen work in there, along with a few other personal notes.
