Repeat yourself.

Repeat yourself.

Repeat yourself.

Most people won’t get it the first time.

Go back to the same themes, ideas, and desires.

You’ll become known for “something” and then people will expect more of that from you.

It’s similar to picking a niche. But it’s also a way for you to continually write about what you’re interested in.

And if you’re interested in multiple things, find a throughline.

This is harder than you think, and I haven’t figured it out yet, but seems well worth it.

This is especially true in blogging. Hit on similar themes, recast current events, trends, and news from different angles.

If you’re selling something, that’s your baseline for repeating yourself. Find different ways to discuss the benefits, features, and how it helps.

A product becomes a central theme.

If you have nothing to sell, but have something in mine, begin writing towards that.

If your writing is the product, then find the themes that resonate and keep repeating yourself. All the time.

Until people start repeating it back to you. And expecting it.*

*Yes, I know I don’t have this last point figured out. Here’s the choir. I’m preaching to it.
