Every week, there’s a new productivity hack making the rounds.

A “scientific” morning routine.

A time-blocking trick.

A brand-new system promising to turn you into a productivity machine.

And yet, despite all these tips and tricks, most people still feel overwhelmed, distracted, and behind on their work.

That’s because most productivity hacks don’t actually work. At least, not in the way we hope they will.

But a few of them do. The question is: what’s the difference? Why do some strategies stick while others fail?

Why most productivity hacks flop

The biggest problem with most productivity advice is that it focuses on surface-level tweaks instead of deep behavioral change. It promises a shortcut but doesn’t address the real issues that prevent people from getting things done.
